ITINERARY

Day 1: Athens arrival

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport meet with our representative and transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Athens- Karpenisi

Breakfast in the hotel

After breakfast collect your jeep from your hotel and start your driving tour around Greece

Drive to Karpenisi Town, in Evritania regionand be amazed by the beatiful sceneryof mont Velouchi

Overnight in Karpenisi

Day 3: karpenisi- Kalambaka

Breakfast in the hotel

After breakfast depart and drive to Kalambaka. Pass by Karditsa town and Trikala town and do not miss a stop at the beautiful Plastiras Lake in the outskirts of Karditsa

Day 4: Kalambaka- Ioannina

Breakfast in the hotel

Visit on your own the world famous Meteora Rocks and enjoy this unique and most impressive scenery of the ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks

Depart and drive to Ioannina Town- the capital of Epirus! Select the route through Metsovo village where you can make a lunch stop and continue to Ioannina, where you will be accommodated for 2 nights

Spend your first day there visiting one of the most beautiful cities of Greece and try the short ferry cruise to the small island in the lake or take a city tour on your own in the city to visit the Palace (Mosque) of Ali Pasha, the well known Vrelli Museum of wax art and the plenty local shops of silver jewells as the silversmith’s art is one of the most important aspects of local culture in Ioannina

Day 5: Ioannina

Breakfast in the hotel

Though the day is free at your disposal, we strongly suggest you drive and discover the breathtaking nature beauties of Epirus such us the unique Zagorochoria- complex of traditional villages and Vickos canyon

Day 6: Ioannina- Olympia

Breakfast in your hotel

Depart to Olympia. On the way to Olympia we strongly suggest that you make a visit to Acherontas river. aplace of unexpected natural beauty and rich ancient history, where you will be able to join also ( during summer) some river activities like rafting, horse riding, river hiking etc

Pass through the modern Rio Antirrio Bridge and drive to Patra, one of the most important cities and commercial ports of Greece wher you may have a stop

Then continue to Olympia- overnight in Olympia

Day 7: Olympia- Athens

Breakfast in the hotel

Do not miss amorning visit at the archaeological area of Ancient Olympia- the cardle of the Olympic Games. Then depart back to Athens driving through the North Peloponnese. On the way you have the chance to visit also the magical Kalavrita and Chelmos mount where you can also see the mythical "Cave of the Lakes". Continue to Athens passing by Corinth canal

Upon arrival in Athens drop off your jeep and proceed to your hotel

Day 8: departure

Breakfast in your hotel

Check out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
